What shed & outbuilding removal means
Shed and outbuilding removal is the dismantling and licensed disposal of a garden structure — timber shed, summerhouse, workshop, greenhouse or sectional garage — including its contents and base debris.
A dead shed is two jobs in one: the contents and the structure. Most Kent gardens we visit have a shed holding twenty years of paint tins, mowers and offcuts, with a rotten felt roof that will not survive being taken apart neatly.
We bring bars, saws and boards, take the structure down in sections, clear what is inside and load the lot. Where the shed sits on old paving slabs or a broken concrete base we can lift and remove that too, so you are left with usable garden rather than a footprint of rubble.

What we can and cannot take
What we take
- Timber sheds, summerhouses and playhouses
- Sectional concrete garages (non-asbestos) and workshops
- Greenhouses, including glass panes handled safely
- Shed contents: tools, mowers, paint tins, offcuts and garden clutter
- Paving slabs, decking and broken base concrete
What we cannot take
- Asbestos cement roof sheets or garage panels — these need a licensed asbestos contractor
- Structures needing demolition plant or scaffolding
- Fuel, gas bottles or oil drums stored inside
Asbestos in older sheds and garages
Corrugated cement roof sheets and sectional garage panels installed before 2000 frequently contain asbestos, and disturbing them is both a health risk and a breach of the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012. We will identify suspect panels, stop and refer you to a licensed contractor rather than break them up. Treated timber, felt and glass are all handled under our Environment Agency upper-tier carrier registration and separated at a permitted transfer station.
