What garden waste removal means
Garden waste removal is the collection of green waste and landscaping arisings — grass, hedge trimmings, branches, turf, soil, fencing and decking — from a domestic or commercial garden, including the labour to carry it out.
Kent gardens generate waste faster than any brown bin can cope with. A single hedge reduction in Sevenoaks or a lawn lifted in Herne Bay will fill several cubic yards, and green waste subscriptions cap you at one bin a fortnight. We take the whole lot in one visit.
Unlike a green-waste round we also take the heavy fractions — soil, turf, hardcore and old paving — which councils exclude. Mixed loads are separated at the transfer station so the green fraction still gets composted.
Key takeaways
- No bag or bin limits — priced by volume, not by container
- Soil, turf, rubble and hardcore accepted alongside green waste
- Loaded from anywhere in the garden, including rear access only
- Green fraction composted; timber and fencing chipped or recycled
What is included
- Hand-loading from the garden — no need to move anything to the front
- Cutting down of long branches to fit the van
- Sweeping of the path or driveway used for loading
- Separation of green, soil and timber fractions at the transfer station

What we can and cannot take
What we take
- Grass cuttings, leaves and weeds
- Hedge trimmings, branches and small tree sections
- Turf, topsoil, subsoil and spoil
- Old fence panels, posts and decking boards
- Broken paving slabs, patio hardcore and rockery stone
- Sheds and greenhouses, dismantled by us if needed
What we cannot take
- Japanese knotweed or other invasive species — this requires a specialist licensed contractor
- Treated railway sleepers containing creosote
- Bagged garden chemicals, pesticides and herbicides
Invasive species and soil movement
Japanese knotweed is controlled waste under the Environmental Protection Act and must only be moved by a contractor with an appropriate permit — spreading it is an offence under the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981. Excavated soil is also controlled waste and cannot simply be tipped on another site; ours goes to a permitted soil recovery facility with the correct waste codes recorded.
Who this service is for
